I had a six paragraph long review for this, but I'll just sum it up in one sentence.

Counter-Strike, Half-Life 2, Red Orchestra's game play and impossible difficulty do *NOT* mix well.

I would have to agree. This mod is way too hard. I couldn't get past the train yard in the first level on Medium, even when I eventually used impulse 101.

You ever heard of realism?

I made it out, Peace of cake man. Duck, Cover, Shoot, Duck, Cover, Rush, Duck, Shoot, Cover, Run, Kick. and I got out quickly.

Maybe if you play on Easy, know where all of the people are, cheat for all of the weapons and ammunition, then with a combination of extreme luck somehow manage to make it through. You're response makes me wonder, have you ever heard of realism? In real life, your enemy would not know exactly where you are, be able to shoot you in the foot and kill you, have every one of their shots be a guaranteed hit, and you don't have to shoot them more than once in order to kill them. I think that you see my point.

Actually, the game is completely easy if you get used to it and don't go rambo like you're Duke Nukem or something.

The mod wont work, everytime the game boots and starts to load, I get an engine error that says " Mountfilesystem( 301 ) failed: Steammountfilesystem(3136,301,0x1310fc74=,0x1310fd74) failed with error 106: Failed to resize the cache file"

anyone got a clue on how to fix this?

This game is mint! But there isnt much custom maps that come with it only a few cs maps and hl2 story mode..

Currently this mod IS way too hard. I loved the first versions of the mod, but in late "patches" the difficulty setting has been set somewhere near "Impossible".
I guess I'll just stick to the first versions of the mod :]

A tactical version of the mod Super Mod for Half-life 2.
Instead of randomness like the banana bomb and a shovel you get real weapons like the G36, M4A1, P90, Kimber 45., Five-Seven, RPG-7 etc; all of the perfect "real" weapons to make Half-Life 2 better! There is even a Minigun, and tactical AK-47!

In-game Help:

If you're having a hard time playing the game, use the cover in the game wisely, you can't just go running around rambo like it's regular Half-Life.
Using cover to your advantage will help you live longer and will help you out of ALL situations. If you have NO weapons and want to not use cheats, I recommend finding a dead ally body. Don't worry about this because there are dead bodies everywhere in the game. I hope this helps all of you!
