Plasma cannons,heavy hydrogen bomb,taser,holy water gun(need to refill water),holy book,quantum weapons etc).More secrets.More dangerous enviroment(no weapons used bare hands or flashlights to kill them).Much more foggy enviroment.Much more gore.Much more hell scripts.Much more marines.More shortcut travel.More unexplainable things.More dump your ass(traps).More bloody enviroment or map.More hell maps.Set in c2325.More horrors.More hell.More peace maps.More interactive game(in the canteen,first level,it has an arcade which named Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3). So just twice the doom Doom 3 was?

I loved doom 3. I felt that the first two games were just as good. But i perfer a little more depth and atmosphere in my games. I admit, i got scared durnig my play through on doom3, (im still playin it since my old saved game got deleted by my brother). I think the reason that nobody liked it so much is because that most didint play in the complete dark with the sound blasting. but i do understand where every1 is coming from. The shooter aspect was a bit lacking and it was reppetitive with its scary/wtf moments. I just hope DOOM 4 will have the atmosphere im looking for, but greatly improved to scare those of you who have balls of ultra hardened titianium, and the great shooter aspect of the first 2. Yeah, a revamped version of D1 and D2 with better grphix will be pure win.

Raping their games with visuals (such as gloss), In depth story line, realism ect... ID needs to kick it old school with another doom classic.

Posted by Ominn I agree. Doom 1 was great, Doom 2 was better. Doom 3 had the horror/fear factor of movies, which was awesome in its own right, but not the adrenaline pumping fun of Doom 1 & 2. It did? I found it incredibly boring - it tried to be scary and atmospheric but it really wasn't. Because they focussed on that it wasn't the great action game the originals were, and it wasn't anything else. It was just a boring game.

Agreed that D3 wasnt like the first two but the first two but take into consideration back in the day there wasnt so much fancy crap. So it was simple, sweet, best of all, to the point. I can't imagine what D1 and D2 would be like with modern graphics. Hope D4 is better than D3, by a grand scale, thought the 3rd was grossly lacking.

Sweet, can't wait to see the screens for D4. I loved all the previous Doom games and hopefully this turns out great.
