There are plenty of honkeys who don't need makeup to look good, but when you're in a magazine you have makeup, regardless of race or profession.
This is probably a controversial nomination, but recently some un-makeup'd photos of Carmen Electra came out and she looked very pretty.
Besides, it's not like she'd be ugly with only a normal amount of makeup on either.
