How many FPS do you want? I know someone who has the exact same specs (give or take a few frames per second) so I can test it with their laptop.

I play with HDR, full view distance, window reflection, high shadow filtering, large textures etc....... The only thing I've turned off is shadow on grass. My computer can't handle that so well. Drops to like 10-15 FPS while I have 30FPS without it. :)

So my guess would be max it out. Type "tdt" in the console without the " (while playing) and see how much FPS you got. And if the FPS is any good let it be. But if you want higher FPS try to turn off shadow on grass and maybe tree company shadow. Then when you're done type "tdt" again in console and the debug mode turns off.

Ok so i have HDR on, medium texture size, most shadows off, shadow filtering low and im getting 15-45 fps, lol, im thinking about turnin the grass off so i can run through the country with higher fps, and i only have low fps when im in a room with A LOT of fire lol and when i dupe too many of something, but thats normal. thx guys

Oblivion will push every part of your computer to its limits because of some faulty code caused by Bethesda rushing the game.

Thats strange .I have an 8600GT with 2 gigs of ram and a core 2 duo 1.86 ghz and I play it on high with HDR and Anti- Aliasing. We pretty much have the same set but you have a little better.
