12 RPS? that's it? I was expecting someting much higher like 17. Use the poor mans chrono for the FPS and record 1 - 2 seconds of straight firing with your mic or ipod or something and send it to me or put it into a video editing program that displays the audio peaks on the file and just count how many peaks (shots) there are in a second.

The performance isn't terrible, I know a few people who love theirs. Not sure how well it will last though. I you have the money for the WE or WA I'd recommend either of those, but the chinaclone isn't bad.

ACM m500.
It has decent performance, just be gentle, the cocking arm has a nasty tendency to break. Of course you could just replace it with a real steel cocking arm. :P
There are lots of other options at higher prices, but I assumed you were looking for a clone of some sort when you mentioned your backyard. :D

Anyone got any good suggestions on a decent gas shotty, preferably a compact but not necesary, also, i really mostly want it just for show, and to inflict pain on friends in the backyard haha
