About This club is for discussing NVIDIA, NVIDIA products, and NVIDIA related products. How to properly update your video cards drivers 1: Through "Add/Remove Programs" proceed to uninstall the Nvidia Display Driver. 2: Boot up into safe mode and run Driver Cleaner. Select "Nvidia" - Please note that these are seperate to the nforce driver cleaner filters - from the drop down menu (again select 'nVidia WDM' if your card has support and therefore drivers) and click on "Clean". Do the cleaning twice to make sure that everything is cleared out. At this point you may also want to clean the cab files too. To do this click on 'Tools' and then select 'Cab Cleaner', choose 'Driver.cab' and then 'Start'. This is not necessary however. 3: Restart your computer (normally this time) and wait for windows to go through it's stupid auto detection of your hadware before continuing, make sure you click 'cancel' and proceed to install the drivers yourself install your new drivers and restart your computer. - From [H]Forum Clubs of interest

Anyone got any ideas yet about why I cant install the latest drivers... as I said it just wont let me install them no matter what I do.

Getting really pissed off now actually;
I cant get any of the latest drivers to install, the last 2 have not worked.

I uninstall both the display driver and the physx in Add/Remove, restart into safe mode and do that Driver Cleaner thing. Restart again into normal Windows and attempt to install again. Says something like "instillation has not worked this time" and that's all I get.

Anyone know anything about this ?

I'm not sure how old your card is but I had problems updating drivers with my old 9800GTX+ because it was defective, yours might be defective (I hope not)

I usually just install over old ones unless im swapping a card, then I'll do a complete remove.
